Sum-sum-summertime - St. George

We stopped in St. George for a few days because it's one of our favorite places. After enjoying the hospitality of so many friends and family, when we walked in the door at my parents' house in St. George, Will said, "Where are all the people?"  Some of our favorite friends from Dubai, Darcy Anderson and her kids were able to come over from California and visit for a few days.  We had a great time being tourists in the city.  The kids loved playing in the yard, and Finley fell in love with Anna as a big sister.

Emilee, Ethan, Will, Anna, Finley - we went to Pioneer Park and climbed around in the sunset - it was beautiful and fun.  We have driven past so many times thinking what a fun place it looked like, and sure enough, it was!

We did some swimming at the pool, and went down to the Children's Museum and the splash pad there - the water was pretty cold, but most of the kids had a good time.  Finley was a little wimpy about the bone chilling spray.

After Anderson's left, we had some great rainstorms, and went out walking afterwards to enjoy the cool air.  We also got to see some friends from Arizona, the Rhea's - they were our first friends as married people, and we loved hanging out with them and their 5 boys, so it was cool to see them and their grown up kids!

Ha - I just realized Nate's Grandma Stradling doesn't live in St. George anymore, but when she did that was always one of our stops.  She lives up in Orem now, and it was good to see her and meet her lovebirds, and Aunt Kathy's chickens.
The kids thought those chickens were awesome - Finley loved picking grass to feed to them.
Tyson loved bouncing himself on the trampoline - his hair was hilarious before, but with the static electricity it gained few more funny points.
