Will's chicken pox hiatus from school reminded us all of how much he loves it, and how impressed we have been with the program. They have learned about homes, gardens, towns, and space, interspersed with multiple holiday parties and at least one birthday party a week.
Nate got to go with him to his PE class one day and we both got to go to an in-class music concert that was just a demonstration of the activities the music teacher does to help them learn about singing and hearing rhythm. I can't for the life of me find the music concert pictures so they will probably show up as part of a random post:)
UN Day - dress in the costume of your home country. Will, Santiago (maybe Argentina? somewhere in South America that speaks Spanish), and Ameera - Canada.
When they were learning about different kinds of transportation, they read a story about hot air balloons, and then one day learned about airplanes, so they folded some and went outside to see whose plane flew the best. Salma, Alex and Ward (he's the little guy who used to be Will's scapegoat for everything wrong with the world.)
Water day - As the weather warmed up, they got to have a water day where all kinds of water activities were set up on the playground. There were bubbles, a small blow up pool, and I'm going to say there is a 90% chance that Will has turned this water table into Noah's Ark.
Reverse chronological order - an oldie from the Halloween, oh sorry, I mean Fall Costume Parade:) I love seeing how much he has changed throughout the year.

looks like fun! i love it when you find a good preschool!! and mostly when THEY love it! i can't believe how big he is getting!!!
