Phew!

Only 24 weeks and 1 Friday to go until summer . . . Yep, its official. Mrs. Moffett has returned from her hiatus and is back at work. Lest you are led astray, I have to say that my classes are pretty great - I get to teach all Honors kids again this year and they make the experience much more enjoyable. There's just no getting around the fact that I hate leaving my baby every day though. He is surviving with the babysitter- actually more than surviving, he comes home every day well fed and loved, and usually with enough nap time. What more can I ask? And to make the first day a little easier, he threw up all over me just as I was getting ready to take him over, so I had to change my clothes and Nate dropped him off!

He had an exciting Halloween - he got to wear his costume and get loved on by his Grandma and Grandpa Moffett, and cousins Amanda and Jen and Stephen - but how could anyone resist this little smiler?
He is starting to get pretty interested in big people food . . . but who wouldn't want to eat waffles with peaches and ice cream for dinner?
And he has had a pretty good growth spurt - he is 14 1/2 pounds now, comf in 6 month clothes - except some of his pants with elastic waistbands - there's lots of extra room there! All the rest of the clever stories and anecdotes I was saving for this post have fallen out of my head so I guess the pictures of "His Cuteness" will have to suffice for now.

I do know that many days when we get home from school and the sitter, this is what we all want to do:) Happy almost Friday.

I am so glad I was able to finally meet him! Even if it was just for a second. Jen and I were talking about making a road trip down there sometime in January, we need to talk about this... So glad to know things back in school are good. Miss you guys lots!!
