One thing we never quite got used to in Dubai was starting work on Sunday and having church on Friday. The only day that didn't change identity was Saturday, but now that we are back in the good old U.S.A, Monday can regain its original identity - and since it's summer, it doesn't have to have negative connotations for us!
Let me just reiterate that flying around the world is overrated. It takes a really long time and even when your toddler is 80% well behaved, it's exhausting for everyone. But now that we are home, it was worth it. Will has been running around the yard and Grandma's house, loving all the open space, and the grass, and the bunny in the backyard, and the cows and horses and sheep next to the road, and his cousins, and the list goes on and on. One of these days we will remember to get out the camera... but for now, yeah for Mondays.

Let me be the first (in the blog world anyway) to say Welcome Back! Sounds like your summer is off to an idyllic start--well, after the plane ride anyway :)
Glad you all made it back safely. We are noticing how much color the landscape has at home. All the shades of blue and green must be washed out by the Arabian sun. Either way Happy Summer, we are looking forward to Aug when dad is off work.
